Something really exciting , curious and lovable that we picked up from the net. A cell phone which Its a Mickey Mouse phone, no not the usual covers that are available for Nokia handsets but this time its real. The phone is a basic clamshell with Mickey shapes all over as seen in the accompanying pictures. The camera lens also peers out from an aperture which is shaped in the form of Mickey's head. The handset which bears the disney signature is made up of white and silver colors.

The Mickey handset is called as the Bmobo M900 and is a tri-band GSM phone. It has a lovely little handle to carry it around in the form of Mickey's glove. Open the clamshell and the theme continues. Notice that the audio aperture for listening into the call is also shaped like a Mouse head. No prizes for guessing the design of the soft keys and joystick which have been cleverly integrated so as to give the same shape as well. We think that the handset has a megapixel camera but cannot be sure of the same. The camera is supported with a flash. The SMS / MMS feature includes several built-in animations of Mickey Mouse which can be used to send to others. The user interface is also very Mickeyish ; its obvious that the theme is not just limited to the hardware but is well integrated into the software as well.



The beautiful inner display (yes it has an external one too) will be 262,000 colors. At 90 grams and dimensions of 88 x 47 x 22 mm; your little kid is going to ask for one soon. But dont worry about the pricing. It could be a long time, if at all the Mickey Phone or the Dmobo M900 makes its appearance in the West; as with all good things this one is meant for Hong Kong and associated Eastern regions. Its too bad since we are sure there would have been good sales figures. Despite his age, Mickey still rules a lot of hearts (young as well as old).
